We believe waiting for healthcare
should not make you sicker.
QueueFree was built to solve a single, massive operational failure: the chaos, uncertainty, and friction of the hospital waiting room.
The Broken Workflow
Walk into almost any OPD clinic today and you will see the same thing: crowded waiting areas, stressed front-desk staff fielding the same "how much longer?" question hundreds of times, and anxious patients afraid to even step out for a coffee.
Doctors get delayed by emergencies. That is medicine. But leaving 40 patients completely blind to those delays is an operational failure.
The Infrastructure Approach
Most "health-tech" startups try to build patient marketplaces or complex booking apps that nobody wants to download. We took a different approach.
QueueFree is operational infrastructure. It works alongside your existing hospital management system. It requires zero app downloads for patients. It is designed to be adopted by hospital staff in under 30 minutes, without disrupting clinical workflows.
Our Design Philosophy
1. Zero Disruption
Hospital staff are already overworked. Software should not add to their burden. QueueFree is designed to deploy rapidly alongside existing workflows with near-zero training.
2. Patient Transparency
Uncertainty causes more anxiety than the actual wait. By giving patients a live view of their exact queue position, we eliminate the psychological friction of waiting.
3. Accessibility First
If an elderly patient cannot figure it out, it is not a solution. This is why QueueFree works entirely through SMS links and QR codes via any basic mobile browser.
Who's Building This
Ashiq Rahman
Founder & CTOAshiq Rahman, the founder of QueueFree, started the company after witnessing the chaos of hospital waiting rooms firsthand. As a technologist based in Chennai, he saw that the problem wasn't a lack of technology — it was that existing solutions were built for Silicon Valley, not for Indian OPDs handling 500+ patients daily. QueueFree is his answer: infrastructure that works within the constraints of real hospitals, not against them.
Nifail S
Co-Founder & CEONifail brings the operational lens to QueueFree. While Ashiq builds the technology, Nifail ensures it survives contact with reality — the unpredictable schedules, the overwhelmed front desks, the patients who just need to know when their turn is. His focus is on making QueueFree something hospital staff actually want to use, not just something that looks good in a demo.
